If you are into your exercise and keen on utilising some of the supplements currently on offer in the market then you may want to try one of the diets by Maximuscle, which give you guidlines on what foods you should be eating along with supplements.

The Maximuscle Diet is a series of 7 diets based on calorie consumption for a day. You choose your diet by answering a few questions about your curretn weight, wasit size, what you want to loose or gain, physical activity etc. and from that it is worked out how many calories you should be consuming on a daily basis.

How Does The Maximuscle Diet Work

After completing your calorie daily consumption calculator you are giving details of exactly how much protein, carbohydrate and fat you should be having on a daily basis in order to achieve your goal. You are also told how much water you should be aiming to intake along with guidance on the GI of carbohydrates you should be aiming for.

After that it is pretty much up to you. You are not really restirtced on what exact foods you can eat or when, although they do recommend how many meals a day you should be having.

You can also view a sample plan based on 7 different daily calorie consumtion rates namely, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000 and 4500. You are given just one example day which of course includes many of the Maximuscle products themselves.

The diet should not be solely view as a way for Maximuscle to sell their products as compared to some other supplements on the market the Maximuscle brand does have high quality products out there which could easily fit into a healthy diet. However, you will need to buy the proudcts in conjunction with your diet so could prove expensive if you are on a budget.

If you are exercising along with your diet then the Maximuscle products are an ideal way to get the nutrients in to your body quickly and efficiently either before, during or after your workout.

Summary

As a stand alone diet you are not given enough detail on how you shouuld approach the diet, so it is certainly not for the novice dieter. The diet is based on solid foundations, but the flexibility which is available may mean you do not get the weightloss results you are hoping for.
