They also provide a huge range of Weight Watchers branded food so you can even get quick easy meals or snacks and still fit it in with your diet.

For a weekly fee you can either join Weight Watchers online or the standard Weight Watchers meetings where you follow the diet and meet up at a local hall for your weekly weight-in and meeting to discuss how your diet is going.

How Does Weight Watchers Work?

The diet works on a points system where they have a library of every type of food and have allocated a certain amounts of points to each one. You can have as much food as you like as long you do not go over your daily points allowance.

You are given a greatd deal amount of flexibility which allows you to eat in, out or on the go with unriveled ease compared to other diets.

With the points system used it could be argued that the dieters were not being educated enough on how to make sensibvle healthy food choices, but Weight Watchers have tried to combat this by introduces a system where dieters are encourage to make healthy choices based on the nutrional content of food. This makes Weight Watchers suitable for both people that want to learn about food and what they are eating as well as those that do not care as much and just want a plan to follow.

The Support

A great feature of the Weight Watchers diet is the support you get whether online or at the meetings. Because if it's popularity you probably know at least one person that has been on the diet or who is currently doing the diet as well.

Support comes from online forums, information, books, meetings and even through their own magazine. So if you have a bit of a set back or slump there are likely to be hundreds of other people who have been in that positions that you can help you thorugh.

Summary

You are almost guarenteed results following this diet, but do not expect miracles, it is designed to give you a steady weight loss and not drop 2 stone in a week!

Down sides to the diet is that it costs money to get the full benefit. You also need to want to eat healthy as you could fall into the trap of eating a very bad low calorie diet by using up your points quickly on the unhealthy options.
