Grapefruit Juice For Weight Loss

Adding a glass of grapefruit juice to your diet can actually enhance your weight loss results according to a US study.

A group of 100 people were split in three groups. The first group were given half a grapefruit before each meal, the second group were given a glass of grapefruit juice and the third group were given no grapfruit at all.

After a 12 week period the group which had the grapfruit and grapefruit juice had lost an average of 3.4 pounds and the group that had no graefruit juice has lost only 0.5 pounds. It is claimed that this is due to the grapefruit aiding the efficient metabolism of sugars.
